SPIRITUAL JOURNEY DIRECTIONS

Here at IWC, we desire to see people grow in their relationship with Christ.  We have provided 5 steps, which we call Re-5, to direct you down the path for spiritual growth.

1.  Respond
- Our goal is to spread Christ's love both within our church and out in our community.  By spreading the Gospel message, we give people the opportunity to respond to Christ's invitation to Himself and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.
2.  Reflect-  We give opportunity during our services at IWC to put aside our daily struggles and reflect on who God is.  Through our praise and worship time and our prayer time, we allow the presence of God to flow and meet us where we are.  We desire to be authentic worshipers of Christ, and we pray that as we reflect on God, we would then reflect Christ in our lives.
3.  Relate-  We provide opportunity to connect with others and relate to one another's lives as they become active members in our church.  Whether they are involved in ministry at our church or a part of a Growth Group, we desire to see strong relationships developed.
4.  Receive-  We believe that in order to have a deeper relationship with the Lord one must be equipped and receive the necessary tools and training.  Through our Foundations classes, our Growth Groups or the other various ministries in our church, we desire to develop mature, committed followers of Christ.
5.  Release-  As a believer develops as a mature, committed follower of Christ, we desire to release them under the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit into the world and leading ministries in our church or into the ministry for service.  As developed Christians, they will go to their workplaces, their neighborhoods, their friends and families and be a testimony of God's life changing power.
